The "Super" number describes how fine the wool fibers are. The higher the number, the finer, softer and lighter the cloth.
- Super 100's–120's: durable everyday workhorses that hold a press and resist wear
- Super 130's–150's: noticeably softer with a richer drape; great for business suits
- Super 160's and up: luxurious and silky, but more delicate. Best for special occasions, not daily rotation

For a suit you'll wear every week, Super 110's to 150's is the sweet spot of softness and durability. Save the very high numbers for a suit you'll wear and rest.
